Captions makes multimedia content easy available and provides a better viewing experience to a varied audience including viewers with learning disabilities and/or ESL (English as a Second Language), mobile users, viewers in public places (malls, airports, gym). With captions, multimedia content is also enhanced with search capabilities. Current captioning methods often require several hours to synchronize audio/video and produce captions just for an hours worth of video. Delays in captioning often hold up program releases causing undesirable business repercussions. Content Producers require a service which can provide captions in appropriate formats which they can quickly embed into their video content.

The Ready ToEncode Captions service is designed to produce synchronized caption files in several formats which can be quickly processed to embed captions into the end output media. As a result, content can be captioned in a fraction of the time required by traditional captioning methods. Users of this service include Closed Captions providers, caption encoder users at large media corporations and content owners who have access to caption encoding devices. Several standard output formats are supported to allow broadcast media producers, web/streaming media producers and Video/DVD content owners to take caption input ready files from the Caption ToGo service and embed into their content prior to viewer release.

Customers use the web interface to upload audio and video content along with the corresponding text transcript and get back caption input ready documents in their specified formats.

In the absence of existing text transcripts, SyncNow can also provide text transcripts as an additional service.
